About us · Mumbai · Since 1989About
“A partner, not a print shop.”
Girjashankar Choudhary started Jais Enterprises with small print jobs for local shops. Today it makes packaging, print and gifts for hotels, restaurants, drinks brands and offices. Jais Brandworks is how his son Tanay brought it online.
PACKAGING · PRINT · GIFTING Our story
Girjashankar Choudhary started Jais Enterprises in Mumbai in 1989, printing stationery and packaging for businesses that needed small runs done properly. Jobs came from word of mouth, and they still do.
Over the years the work grew to branded packaging, print and corporate gifts for hotels, restaurants, cafés and offices.
Jais Brandworks is the next step: the same people, with an easier way to order. Send your logo, get a mockup, approve, done.
LOWER PAREL, MUMBAI · SINCE 1989One brand, every piece
One partner for the whole set: packaging, print and gifts that match, so you are not chasing five vendors for one look.
How we got here
Girjashankar starts Jais Enterprises in Mumbai, printing letterheads, cards and boxes for local businesses.
Word of mouth brings food packaging, napkins and menus for kitchens and hotel dining rooms.
Bar kits, POS and corporate gifts for spirits and wine brands, and welcome kits for offices.
Tanay joins and puts all of it in one place, so ordering takes a message instead of a visit.
Habits from the print floor
Girjashankar set these early on. They are why clients from the nineties still order.
Before a full run, the first prints are held up against the mockup you approved.
If your date is tight, you hear it when you ask, not after you have paid.
Artwork, colours and sizes are saved, so the tenth order matches the first.
Sundays included. Usually within the hour.
Behind every order
Samples of every product sit on the shelves here. Files get checked, colours matched by eye and cartons packed and sent from this address in Shah and Nahar Industrial Estate.

A word from the founder
“In 1989 I checked every sheet myself and only gave dates I could keep. I still do both. The rest came from clients telling their friends.”
